Americans Capture Three Buildings in Baghdad

The Americans have seized three buildings in the centre of Baghdad which belonged to the Ministry of Information of Iraq, said the Al-Arabiya TV channel which is covering live the developments in the Iraqi capital. According to the TV channel's information, fierce fighting is going on in the east, west and south of Baghdad.

As many as 65 U.S. tanks and 45 armoured personnel carriers are participating in the combats which are being fought near the presidential complex and other government buildings.

The TV channel is showing dense clouds of smoke from the fires on the territory of the complex. The American tanks standing on the bank of the Euphrates river are delivering fire at the government buildings.

As before, the flag of Iraq is fluttering over the presidential palace.
