Fighting Goes on Between Iraqi Troops and US and British Forces in the South of Iraq
Fighting is going on in the city of Al-Nassiriya, southern Iraq, between the troops of the country's government and the forces of the USA and Great Britain. The Iranian radio reports that on March 31st the US-British forces made an attempt to seize Al-Nassiriya, but were offered resistance by the Iraqi troops.
Witnesses report that the warring sides resumed the exchange of fire, which still continues.
