6 terrorists eliminated in Chechnya's Shali district

Six terrorists were eliminated in a separatist base in Chechnya's Shali district, reported the Regional Operational Headquarters for coordinating the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus.

While raiding the Serzhen-Yurt neighbourhood on Wednesday to check a report saying there was a terrorist group in the area, interior troops and servicemen of the provisional operational group of the interior ministry discovered a separatist base in the forest. There followed an armed clash between the servicemen and 6 terrorists that occupied the base, in which all terrorists were eliminated. Searching through the base, the servicemen found a large amount of weapons and ammunition.
