At a cemetery of the Oktyabrsky district in Grozny (capital of Chechnya) the police have discovered another arms cache, which, according to the preliminary information, belonged to the "emir" of the Oktyabrsky district Muslim Bashtarov.
As it was disclosed to a RIA Novosti correspondent by the Regional operative headquarters of the anti-terrorist operations in the North Caucasus, the arms-cache contained several Kalashnikov assault rifles and grenade launchers with spare cartridges.
The day before, at the same cemetery a similar arms cache was discovered with 8 kg of TNT, 1,5 kg of plastic explosives, and a huge amount of ammunition along with the documents, testifying that the arms cache belonged to Bashtarov.
Bashtarov was eliminated by the federal forces on March 9, 2002 during a battle, the regional operative headquarters informed.
