The May demonstrations near the government house in Grozny were organized by the separatist forces and were carefully recorded by camera, said Russian defense minister Sergei Ivanov at a press conference in Moscow, where he showed the reports of Aslan Maskhadov's agents confiscated in a special operation.
The minister said that a "Pimat", a journalist, judging by the report, had described how "Maskhadov's order had been carried out".
"On May 20th we gathered at the government house. We were afraid that the camera could be confiscated, but still managed to shoot decent material," the agent writes.
"Pimat" insisted that the material "was suitable for the 'Voice of Freedom'".
The documents were found when liquidating Maskhadov's headquarters.
