Snipers' gang destroyed in Chechnya
A group of snipers has been destroyed in Chechnya. According to the counter-terrorist operation headquarters the police were informed that on Wednesday a group of snipers would leave the village of Samashko, Achkhoi-Martan district, in the evening twilight and move in the direction of the forest.
A group of police lay in ambush on the expected route of the gunmen. During their detention one of the bandits opened fire and was killed.
The second bandit surrendered, and a sniper rifle with munitions was confiscated form him.
