Four terrorists were killed last Friday during a skirmish outside the Chechen-Aul village, the Grozny district. This information was disclosed on Saturday by the Russian Interior Ministry.
Rebels ambushed a group of servicemen assigned to the Russian interior force leaving two soldiers wounded. Federal servicemen opened return fire leaving four rebels dead. The bandits' corpses are currently being identified.
According to the local police station, the clash took place during a special operation to find rebels and weapons, which federal forces have been carrying out in Chechen-Aul for several days running. Thirteen people have been arrested during the operation. Their involvement in terrorist activities is currently being investigated.
