Arafat's adviser: the only way to achieve peace is to have Israel recede into its former borders

In order to achieve peace with Palestinians, Israel must recede into the borders that existed before June 4th, 1967, announced Yasser Arafat's information adviser Nabil Abu Rudinah. Israel may either recede on its own or reach a corresponding agreement with Palestinians, the adviser said in a press statement. According to his words, that's the only way to settle the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and achieve peace in the region. Any other approach will be just a waste of time and will be classified as an attempt to fudge the issue, said Abu Rudinah.
