The death toll of the terrorist act in Kaspiisk has reached 39 people, including 13 children, 21 servicemen and four civilians, reported Oleg Grekov, head of the press service of the southern regional emergencies ministry's office. In his words, in all 110 people have been rushed to hospital. Two of them are in an extremely critical condition and two of them are in a serious condition. According to Grekov, last night a ton of medicines was delivered from Krasnodar to Makhachkala by a Yak-40 aircraft. The emergencies ministry of Daghestan organised the delivery of the cargo to hospitals. The blast went off on May 9th, the Victory Day, at 9.50 Moscow time in the central square of Kaspiisk when a military orchestra was marching from the local square to the cemetery where wreaths were to be laid to the graves of soldiers killed in the Great Patriotic War. A criminal investigation has been launched into the incident, pursuant to the article "terrorism". Today has been declared a mourning day in Daghestan.
