Head Of Ministry Of Justice Yuri Chaika Arrived In Chechnya

Head of the Russian Ministry of Justice Yuri Chaika has arrived in the Chechen Republic. He intends to check the activity of the commando elements of the Ministry of Justice and of the bailiff service on guarding round the clock the buildings of courts on the territory of the republic, and security of the judges and participants in trials. Yuri Chaika also intends to meet with the OSCE representatives at Znamenskoye populated area. The Justice Ministry officials noted that security of the OSCE representatives now staying in the Northern Caucasus is ensured by the elements of Justice Ministry commandos. Besides that, during the trip Yuri Chaika will present awards to the commandos of the Ministry of Justice who distinguished themselves in the course of the anti-terrorist operation in Chechnya. He will also congratulate chief of the administration of the Ministry of Justice in the Chechen Republic Bek Baskhanov upon the conferment of the title of State Councillor of Justice 3rd Class on him, the Ministry of Justice officials noted.
