The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia again put off on Thursday the interrogation of Vladimir Gusinsky, head of Russia's Media-Most holding for May 10, 2001. Gusinsky's lawyer Yuri Bagrayev said that the questioning did not take place on Thursday due to Gusinsky' absentia. Bagrayev reminded the audience that the interrogation had been postponed for a third time now, after April 25 and 27. Gusinsky was to face new money laundering charges, and in this connection the Prosecutor General's Office had issued a repeat Interpol warrant for search and arrest of the media mogul. According to Bagrayev, Gusinsky's lawyers were again denied access to the case. At the same time the lawyer said that Gusinsky has no intention to return to Russia and the Prosecutor General's Office is well aware of it.
