A regular reshuffling of the Georgian peacekeepers serving in the Yugoslav territory of Kosovo as part of the Turkish peacekeeping battalion is to begin Wednesday. The Georgian Defense Ministry officials said that a platoon of Georgian peacekeepers will leave for Turkey where for two weeks servicemen of the Kodjor center of low intensity conflicts will be trained for further serving in Kosovo. Expenses connected with the Georgian peacekeepers' serving in Kosovo will be covered by the Turkish government. The Georgian peacekeepers have been serving in Kosovo since September 1999. Five of them who distinguished themselves were awarded NATO medals "For Peacekeeping" last April.
