Militants' Stronghold Detected In Chechnya

Officers detected a disguised stronghold of militants in the south-east of Urus-Martan. The Russian Interior Ministry forces' strategical group headquarters in the North Caucasus said Wednesday that the object was a complex of fortified installations equipped with communication trenches, bunkers, dug-outs, and cells for keeping prisoners. A secret depot with arms was also situated there. The same secret depots with arms and ammunition were detected and destroyed in the south of Argun and in the Nozhai-Yurt district. A high-explosive bomb was detected and rendered harmless in the settlement of Apinovskaya.
