Police officers discovered five arms-and-ammo caches in Chechnya today; those caches were set up by local bandits. According to the headquarters of the Russian Interior Ministry's North Caucasus force, those caches were filled with anti-aircraft shells, anti-tank grenades, assault-rifle and large-caliber machine-gun bullets, and other military equipment. Yet another cache was located inside a damaged house near an Argun residential area. CID (Crime Investigation Department) officers confiscated machine-gun ammunition belts, anti-tank rocket-launcher rounds and hand-grenades, too.
