Armed clashes between Arabs and Israelis continue in Palestine

In the evening on Sunday and during the past night clashes took place on the territories of the Palestinian Authority as a result of which Israeli citizens were wounded. In particular, two Israeli women were injured as a result of the throw of stones at their automobile on a highway not far from Bethlehem, near the Arab settlement of Husan. They were hospitalized in Jerusalem. An exchange of fire between Palestinians and Israeli servicemen occurred at night in the Beit Jal area in direct proximity of Bethlehem. Besides that, Palestinians launched a fire attack on the Jewish settlement of Netzer Hazani in the Gush Qatif area in the Gaza Strip. At least five shells were fired at it. Long firing engagements took place in the Neve Dkalim and Rafiyaha areas. Confrontation in Hevron, a large Arab city on the West Bank of the Jordan, in which a Jewish block is situated, is going on. The Israeli army recommenced the full blockade of Kalkilia. This decision was taken after the Sunday night explosion near the Israeli check point situated close to the city.
