Radiation levels in the area of the village of Roslyakovo remain normal. RIA Novosti learnt on Monday in the local centre of the State Sanitary and Epidemic Prevention Committee that following the operation to place the Kursk in a floating dock belonging to the Roslyakovo ship repair plant, radiation levels had not changed. The centre's specialists are taking radiation levels every four-six hours near the submarine and the soil surface nearby. Gamma waves have not been recorded, while no traces of artificial radiation particles have been discovered either. The current level stands at 7-9 microns per hour, which is normal for natural background radiation.
