Head Of Chechen Administration Announces Changes In Governmental Structure

Head of the Chechen administration Akhmad Kadyrov announced changes in the governmental structure and new appointments in the Chechen administration Thursday. The governmental administration apparatus was eliminated and the Chechen administration apparatus was established instead, Akhmad Kadyrov said at a meeting in the House of Government. Lieutenant-General Yan Sergenin who headed the Chechen legal department before was appointed Chief of the apparatus. Viktor Aleksintsev was appointed Serengin's Deputy. He was relieved of his post of Deputy Chairman of the Chechen government - Chief of the governmental administration apparatus in connection with the new appointment.
