Spain Ready To Sent Its Task Force To Afghanistan

Spain is ready to send its task force to Afghanistan which will help the United States in its lasting anti-terrorist action since next spring. RIA Novosti was informed of this by Spanish government sources. According to the sources, Spanish commandos participated in combat operations in the Balkans and may be used in land forces' operations in Afghanistan. At present, Spain supports the Afghan operation by allowing the United States to use its two military bases and two destroyers which patrol the eastern part of the Mediterranean now.
