Bomb disposal units prevented three terrorist acts in Grozny over the past 24 hours. Sources in the city military commandant's office disclosed a homemade explosive device made of two artillery shells and a hand grenade was found near a church. The bomb was safely detonated on site. A high explosive device assembled of three artillery shells was discovered on the side of the road to the Severny Airport. Russian military convoys travel by that road frequently, the commandant office sources elaborated. Another high explosive device was located in the city's Zavodskoi District and consisted of a landmine and 200 grams of TNT. The bomb was planted next to a federal military checkpoint.
