Hand Grenade Found Next To Hq Of Anti-organised Crime Squad In Moscow

A hand grenade was found on Thursday near the Central Regional headquarters of the RUBOP anti-organized crime police squad. Source in Moscow law enforcement agencies told RIA Novosti that the city duty officer at 4:30pm, Moscow time, received a telephone call about an object resembling a hand grenade discovered near the RUBOP headquarters building. A RUBOP official said no personnel have been evacuated from the building. A bomb disposal expert and other emergency operatives have been rushed to the scene.
