Rescuers of the Emergencies Ministry are to start retrieving bodies from the debris of the Mi-8 helicopter which crashed in Yakutia /a federal republic in the north of the Far East/. However, according to the Emergencies Ministry, the 1.5-metre thick snow is hampering the operation. The Mi-8 helicopter crashed on Friday leaving eight passengers and three crewmen dead. The fragments of the helicopter were discovered on Sunday morning 104 km from the Chulman settlement. The Mi-8 helicopter operated by the Delta-K company left Chulman for the Ytymdzha settlement. However, it failed to get in contact at the scheduled time. The helicopter was carrying 11 people and over 1,300 kg of cargo.
