A group of arrested militants from the grouping led by notorious Chechen terrorist Shamil Basayev has been deported to Stavropol (a territorial centre in the North Caucasus) where it is to appear in court. According to the court's office, all of them are accused of an armed raid of the city of Budennovsk in June 1995. At that time almost 150 civilians were killed and more than 400 wounded by the bandits. Most probably, the accused will join those Basayev bandits in the dock who were earlier arrested and already put under guard in Stavropol. Their court hearings were intentionally interrupted to wait for the "reinforcements".
