Militant Trained At Khattab Camp Detained In Ingushetia

In the North-Caucasian republic of Ingushetia the operatives detained a militant who underwent a course of training at the camp of Jordanian terrorist Khattab. The militant was detained by militiamen in the Sunzhenski district of the republic during an inspection of a VAZ 2107 car in which he was moving. The detainee was found carrying a pistol with cartridges and a false identification card of a militiaman. He was on a federal wanted list for an armed assault on a roadblock at Novy Alkun village last August. Two of his companions - a resident of Grozny and an inhabitant of Ingushetia - were also detained. Their participation in bandit formations is now being checked.
