Two servicemen of the Russian federal forces were wounded as a result of an explosion of a radio-controlled landmine in the main city of Chechnya, Grozny. According to the information of the staff of the Joint Group of Troops in the Northern Caucasus, on Tuesday local inhabitants informed the police of two home-made explosive devices planted by militants in a central street of the city. Field engineers safely deactivated one of the mines but when they started looking for the second explosive device, the militants managed to blast it. As a result of the explosion, two sappers were gravely wounded.
