Five People Perished In Tajikistan As A Result Of Snow Avalanches

Five people perished in snow avalanches in the mountains of eastern Tajikistan. According to the republican Emergencies Ministry, on the route linking Tajik capital Dushanbe with Horog town, a snow avalanche overturned an automobile with eight passengers. Four of them died on the spot, and the others were rushed to hospital with injuries of different gravity. One more person perished similarly on a local motor road in the same area. Due to the calamity, the delivery of humanitarian cargoes to the inhabitants of the northern regions of Afghanistan has been temporarily suspended.
