Two local Albanians have been killed by unidentified assailants in a drive by shooting. A UN spokesman for the Yugoslavian province announced on Tuesday that the incident had occurred in the west of Kosovo, 60 km from Pristina, the province's administrative centre. One of the victims worked as a driver, while the other was a bodyguard of the head of the Albanian administration, Fadil Ferati. The latter is a member of the Democratic Union of Kosovo, which is led by Ibrahim Rugova, who was victorious in province's elections on November 17th. According to the UN spokesman, it is so far not clear as to whether or not the crime was politically motivated.
