US Air Force Bombs 'Road of Life' from Iraq to Jordan
At least three foreigners were killed and five injured when US planes bombed the highway leading from Iraq to Jordan this morning. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by the Iraqi Defense Ministry, several bombs were dropped by US fighter planes destroying a bus and a roadside cafй on the so-called 'road of life', the highway from Baghdad to Amman.
Until now this highway was the only evacuation route for foreigners leaving Iraq. Sources say that the highway is now partly destroyed.
