Iraqi Army Is Now at Full Alert

Every battalion of the Iraqi army is now at full alert. This was announced to a Rosbalt correspondent by representatives of the Iraqi defense ministry today.

According to certain sources, several short-range Al-Samud-2 rockets, which were in the process of being destroyed, are now ready in case of emergency at a military base close to the city of Basra. Furthermore, spokesmen for the CIA have said that subdivisions of the Iraqi forces for chemical weapons have begun a programme with the code name Zarin-1 which will involve spraying poison-gases in the south of the country, where the American invasion is expected to begin.
