As a result of an accident involving two buses in northern Nigeria, 30 people were burned alive, reports France Presse citing the representative of the Nigerian Federal Road Safety Service Abdurrahman Yakasai.
According to the agency, the accident occurred on Thursday, July 21, in the northern state of Kaduna. Two buses and a passenger car collided on a section of the highway that connects the city of Kano and the Nigerian capital Abuja. This collision caused fire.
According to Yakasai, several other people were seriously injured and were taken to the hospital. The cause of the accident is allegedly speeding and careless driving.
