Russia's fourth humanitarian convoy on the way to Ukraine

A convoy of the Russian EMERCOM carrying humanitarian aid to residents of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, has arrived in the Voronezh region. The convoy of 100 trucks set off on a journey to Ukraine from the Moscow region, officials with the ministry said. After the drivers take a rest, refuel vehicles and conduct maintenance checks, the motorcade will continue traveling to the Rostov region.

The convoy carries about 1,000 tons of cargo - construction materials, food, medicines and various equipment to prepare for winter.

In addition, EMERCOM aircraft has delivered about 100 tons of humanitarian cargo to Rostov-on-Don. The cargo will then be overloaded onto trucks.

Further actions will be coordinated with the Foreign Ministry and the Red Cross, officials said. During this week, convoys of the Russian EMERCOM are to deliver up to 3,000 tons of humanitarian cargo to Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

This is the fourth Russian humanitarian convoy. The previous three columns have delivered the total of 6,000 tons of cargo - food, including cereals and canned food, as well as medicines, power-generating units, warm clothes and bottled drinking  water.
