Slavyansk paralyzed: People left without water, food, electricity

As a result of the actions of the Ukrainian troops, the town of Slavyansk and its suburbs are on the verge of a humanitarian disaster. The people were left without water and electricity. Almost all hospitals are closed, ambulance does not work due to the absence of fuel, spokespeople for the People's Republic of Donetsk reports.

Combat actions in Slavyansk have been temporarily stopped. The local authorities use the break to restore necessary communications. The town, for example, faces a serious problem of the shortage of chlorine for water purification. Slavyansk militia leaders try to solve the situation, organizing water supplies for the population. Electric power supplies are to be resumed for important facilities with the help of  diesel generators.

On the night of June 17, the Ukrainian army struck an artillery blow on a suburb of Slavyansk, the village of Vostochny. The settlement is located on the line of fire between the army and militia positions.
