The number of civilians continues to grow with every day of the ongoing bombardment of the town of Slavyansk. On June 8, one of the victims of the attacks conducted by Kiev troops was a five-year-old, who was hiding from bombs in a church.
A shell of the Ukrainian army hit the dome of the church in the center of Slavyansk - the town that still remains under the control of the militias of the Donetsk People's Republic. The fire broke out as a result of the shelling, RIA Novosti said.
Last night, according to the municipal council, five civilians and militias were killed in the town. It was also said that one of the shells damaged the pipeline near Mashmet. The Ukrainian army also used volley fire Grad systems in the attacks against Slavyansk.
According to eyewitnesses, the village of Semyonovka has been practically destroyed. There is no undamaged building left in the village.
