Russia is willing to help N. Korea

Russian Minister of International Affairs Sergey Lavrov has stated that Russia is willing to help N. Korea in regards with the recent railway catastrophe if Pyongyang will ask for it.

“As far as the railway catastrophe in N. Korea is concerned, Russia will be willing to help the Korean Republic in case it asks us for it,” stated Sergey Lavrov.

The Minister has also noted that all possible circumstances of the train blast are currently under investigation.

Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations also states that it is ready to provide emergency help to North Korea.

“We follow the situation in N. Korea by means of the UN connection. Should the need for our help arise, we are ready to help. In the meantime, no official statements regarding needed support have been made from the Korean side,” informed Deputy Minister of the Emergency Ministry Yuri Brazhnikov.

According to him, the Emergency Ministry of Russia does not possess any information regarding the exact scale of the railway catastrophe that took place in North Korea.
