Volodymyr Zelensky's children evacuated from Kyiv, Elena Zelensky says

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Elena in a joint interview with British journalist Piers Morgan spoke about their relationship and children. According to them, after February 24, they became more interested in each other.

Excerpts from the interview, which will be shown on Talk TV, were published by The Times.

"I would say that I have no other life. I have one wife, one love and one family. I never had the feeling that something was wrong either with us or in our relationship,” Volodymyr Zelensky said. "The war has only strengthened our relationship,” he added.

According to Elena Zelensky, their children have not seen their father since February 24. Their 18-year-old daughter Alexandra is preparing to enter the university, and 9-year-old son Kirill wants to become a military man.

Elena Zelensky said that she agreed with her husband. "Difficulties make marriage stronger,” she said.

"We became more interested in each other. We have something to say to each other, I want this challenge to make us more united,” she added.

Volodymyr and Elena Zelensky got married in 2003. To date, the couple has two children — 18-year-old daughter Alexandra and 9-year-old son Kirill.

Elena Zelensky confirmed that their children were evacuated from Kyiv. It was previously reported that Zelenskys' children were living abroad.

Elena Zelensky has been staying by her husband's side since the beginning of Russia's special operation in Ukraine. Last week Zelenskaya traveled to the United States, where she personally addressed US Congress with a request to provide her country with additional air defense systems.
