Biden calls on trying to make Russian operation in Ukraine a strategic failure

US President Joe Biden on Thursday called on Russia's special military operation in Ukraine to become a "strategic failure" for Moscow.

"The United States will continue to support Ukraine and the Ukrainians who have suffered because of the violence by the Russian Federation," he said, speaking in Jerusalem at a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid.

According to the American leader, Russia's actions in Ukraine "represent a challenge to peace and stability." As Biden argued, the Russian special operation "should be a strategic failure, and the free world must support the US resolve" to help Ukraine "defend its democracy."
