Pope Francis says World War III has begun

Pope Francis drew attention to the beginning of WW3, writes La Stampa.

“A few years ago it occurred to me to say that we are living the third world war in parts. Today, I believe, the third world war was declared,” the pontiff said in a conversation with the leaders of the Jesuit media in Europe.

In his opinion, it is necessary to think about what is happening to humanity, "which has survived three world wars in a century".

The Pope also drew attention to the fact that in addition to Ukraine, conflicts continue in other countries: in Nigeria, Congo, Myanmar - but no one cares about this. Francis also recalled the clashes in Rwanda 25 years ago and once again stressed that the world is at war.
