Russia to ship rocket engines to China

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin stated that Russia was preparing documents for the delivery of rocket engines to China.

Rogozin said at the Second Russian-Chinese Expo in Harbin on October 12 that there were two space projects, on which Russia and China were working. The agreements on the projects were said to be prepared for December, when Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev pays a visit to China. 

It goes about the agreement for the supply of Russian rocket engines, as well as about the supplies of Chinese microelectronics to Russia. 

Rogozin also said that Russia and China were planning to set up a joint venture in Russia for the production of receiver modules and chipsets for Beidou and GLONASS satellite navigation system. 

Russia and China are also to cooperate in the construction of reactors for nuclear power plants in third countries. In addition, Russia and Chinese specialists are studying the possibility of creating a railway line between the port of Arkhangelsk and the Urals.
