Michael Fallon, British Secretary of State for Defence regards Russian aircraft flights near the country's airspace as a "serious treat".

According to him, such acts of the Russian Air Force aim at "annoying" Great Britain. Fallon told Sky news that Russian Air Force flights near the country's border are a "serious threat". It is not a play, but a serious threat, that they should be responsible for, as he said.

He also noted, that Russian aircraft hinder the civil aviation operation, as not responding to the air control services and pilots of the British Air Force.

Washington Free Beacon reported earlier with reference to the Pentagon, that Russian strategic nuclear bombers Tu-95 awfully frightened the US Air Force pilots on 4 July.
