Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada ready to be dissolved

 

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is ready for dissolution. The ruling coalition collapsed. In the event the new coalition is not created within a month, the head of state will be entitled to dissolve the parliament and hold early parliamentary elections.

The Communist faction of the Ukrainian parliament was disbanded today, July 24th. Soon afterwards, UDAR faction announced its decision to pull out from the ruling coalition. "Proceeding from the fact that we can not see the Verkhovna Rada is tuned up for constructive work in accordance with the will of the Ukrainian people, UDAR faction of Vitali Klitschko is withdrawing from the European choice coalition at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 7th convocation," Interfax quoted faction leader Vitaliy Kovalchuk as saying.

The faction of Oleg Tyagnibok, Svoboda,left the coalition as well.

The president of Ukraine will be able to dissolve the parliament in one month, unless a new coalition is created.
