Russian FM Lavrov to meet US counterpart Kerry in Paris

 

On June 4th, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will hold a bilateral meeting in Paris, the chief of the press service of the U.S. State Department Jen Psaki said.

The head of the U.S. State Department is a member of the delegation of the U.S. President Barack Obama, who on Monday left the States to visit Poland, Belgium and France.

According Psaki, the main issues on the agenda of the upcoming talks between  Lavrov and Kerry will be the crisis in Ukraine, as well as the internal conflict in Syria and the process to remove chemical weapons from the country.
