US to introduce new military sanctions against Russia

On Monday, April 28, U.S. authorities will announce new sanctions against Russia, Deputy Adviser to the President on U.S. national security, Tony Blinken said.

The sanctions will focus on the military-industrial and technological sectors of the Russian economy, Blinken said.

The "black list" will include people and companies from the circle of Russian President Vladimir Putin that have a significant influence on the Russian economy. In particular, the States threatens business representatives of the Russian defense industry and technology.

Reportedly, Washington wants the EU to follow the same path and introduce sectoral sanctions against Russia. However, the European Union is not in a hurry to make similar decisions.
