U.S. Assistant Secretary Victoria Nuland said at the OSCE meeting that Ukraine may plunge into chaos, unless the government listens to protesters.

Nuland stressed out that most countries of the world were closely watching what was happening in Ukraine. According to her, the country will face a serious crisis if the country's leadership does not listen to the requirements that can be heard on Kiev's Independence Square (Maidan).

Nuland added that she was planning meetings with representatives of the Ukrainian government and the opposition.
