Another Ukrainian official commits suicide

 

The former head of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Alexey Kolesnik, committed suicide, MG Objective, a Kharkiv-based publication said. 

"Sixty-four-year-old Alexei Kolesnik, ex-chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council, has committed suicide," the publication said. 

According to preliminary reports, the man hanged himself.

On Monday, January 26, it was said that Nikolai Sergienko, who served as first deputy general director of Ukrainian Railways before April 2014, shot himself. Sergienko was appointed on the position in 2010.
