One woman was killed and two were injured as a result of the collapse of sugar at a sugar-making factory in the Kursk region of Russia, Interfax reports.
Three employees of Sugar Zolotukhino factory were working in the sugar storage room. As a result of safety violations, a pile of sugar collapsed, burying the women alive.
A 44-year-old employee died from his injuries on the spot, two of her colleagues were hospitalized with fractures of leg bones.
