Oprah Winfrey sees pure racism in crocodile bags

National Tourism Organization of Switzerland has apologized to famous American TV host Oprah Winfrey for the fact that a local store refused to sell her a handbag.

"We are embarrassed that the person (a saleswoman in the store) made a terrible mistake. We regret that this happened, Oprah," the organization wrote on Twitter.

As she told by Winfrey, a store employee did not show her a bag of crocodile skin worth 38,000 dollars. The sales assistant assumed that the customer could not afford it. Winfrey considered it a manifestation of racism. The sales woman blamed her bad English. According to her, she simply explained that this model of bags was produced in another, cheaper, variant.
