Russian tourist killed in Egypt riding water attraction

A Russian tourist was killed in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh while riding a water attraction, the press service of the Federal Tourism Agency said. The circumstances of the tragic event have not been specified yet.

The victim, a 25-year-old client of "Intourist" travel agency, Yulia Malysheva, was vacationing at Regency Plaza Aqua Park & ​​Spa Resort with her husband, daughter and mother. The young woman died, riding an inflatable tablet.  

The woman supposedly hit her head on a metal pontoon as the speed boat was taking a turn. The woman's husband, Dmitry Malyshev, who rode with her, was also injured in the accident. The man as hospitalized with a fracture of his leg bone.

The holiday of another Russian tourist ended with a tragedy in Egypt's Hurghada. A young girl died on February 24 during motosafari. In addition, a 29-year-old Russian tourist, named as Dennis K., drowned while scuba diving in Hurghada. The man arrived at the resort last week with his family. The man's body was sent to the city morgue. The municipal administration in currently in the process of settling the formalities to deliver the body to the Russian Embassy in Cairo, reports Life News. Tourist Police launched an investigation into all circumstances of the incident.
