Russian Navy ships to set off on distant ocean trip in the Atlantic

 

The inter-fleet group of Russian Navy ships is to set off on a distant ocean trip in the Atlantic Ocean this summer, Vice Admiral Alexander Fedotenkov, Deputy Commander in Chief of the Russian Navy, said Monday.

The admiral said that the naval command was currently preparing a plan of the summer training period. The plan, in particular, includes scheduled duty and combat services in the Black and Mediterranean seas.

Vessels of the Black Sea Fleet, led by flagship missile cruiser "Moskva" in conjunction with a group of ships of the Baltic and Northern fleets will participate in training combat missions in the Atlantic.
