Russia may attack Ukraine with pinpoint strikes

 

Russian authorities consider pinpoint strikes on the territory of Ukraine in response to attacks of the Russian territory in the Rostov region, near Donetsk.

According to the Kommersant newspaper that cites a source close to the Kremlin, the Russian side "knows exactly where the fire comes from." According to the source, it goes about individual targeted attacks on positions on the Russian territory.

On July 13th, during the fighting between the Ukrainian army and militias of the self-proclaimed People's Republic of Luhansk for control of Izvarino checkpoint, a suburb of Donetsk, the Rostov region of Russia, was shelled. One of the shells, fired from the Ukrainian side, exploded in the yard of building No. 47 on Baltiyskaya Street. This explosion killed local resident Andrei Shulatyev, born in 1967.

Another shell hit a neighboring household, thereby injuring two women, mother and daughter. The 82-year-old woman was hospitalized in a serious condition with fractures and brain concussion.
