MiG-27 fighter jet crashes in India

On Tuesday, a MiG-27 fighter of Indian Air Force crashed in the north-west of India in Rajasthan. The plane crashed during a training flight two minutes after take-off. The pilot managed to eject; the causes of the crash are being investigated.

Last year, a number of crashes involving military aircraft took place in India.

Meanwhile, mass clashes occurred in India's state of Assam today, in which 11 people were killed and 6 injured.
