The Moscow police are searching for perpetrators who attacked and robbed the wife of a traffic police officer on Saturday night in the south-west of Moscow. The woman's husband saw the perpetrators attacking his wife. He had to jump out of the window of his apartment on the third storey to help her. As a result of the risky jump, the man broke his both legs and was hospitalized.

The incident occurred on Saturday night near apartment building on Tsuryupa Street. At 1:20 a.m., a road police inspector called a police station. He said that he saw a group of men approaching his wife on the street. The man was staying in his apartment at that moment. The men started beating his wife. They snatched her purse, in which there were 2,000 rubles ($60).

"The traffic inspector jumped out of the windows onto the roof of the entrance door of the building, and then landed on the ground in a rush to help his wife," an official said.
